so did you start singing the tune? :)
Ive never made any secret of the the fact that I love Graphic 45 papers and embellishments, probably because they always have a heritage feel to them! Im nothing if not predictable :)
12 days of Christmas is a beautiful collection of papers and embellishments. Full of traditional Christmas colours and graphics.
Today I have two more cards to show you. The beauty of cards is that they're like a mini version of a layout, so you can embellish to your hearts content or keep them plain and simple and they still look awesome - just like 12 x 12 pages really. With one piece of paper, one sheet of card stock and some chipboard elements Ive made two cards for you - one simple one fancy with little cost.
Here I have separated the inside piece from the outer tarten frame, place chipboard behind it for dimension and layered it over another section of paper. Like a window of sorts. The chipboard sentiment separates into two pieces, Ive just popped one up with chipboard again, and diecut some leaves and holly from a Tim Holtz die to create my cluster.
The second card is a simpler version. This time Ive used just one section from the paper - separated the middle section from the strips and layered those behind it, mounted it on vanilla card stock diecut with a Spellbinders die and again popped it up with chipboard. Add some ribbon and twine, a chipboard element and you're done!
So there you have it :) I hope they've inspired to get cracking on some Christmas cards!
